Policies
Boarding/Daycare General Policies:
Our daycare and boarding rates are listed on the website.
We encourage clients to prepay for their pet’s stay in advance. Payment in full for boarding is due the night before the reservation starts .
Cancellation of daycare reservations must be made by phone, in person, or by e-mail no later than 7 PM the night prior to arrival or may result in a no-show fee of $20.
Drop-off/Pick-up times Monday-Sunday are 6 AM-10 AM and 4 PM-7:30 PM. We close at 7:30pm. If you are going to be more than 5 minutes late, or if we are unable to reach you by closing, you may either be charged a late fee or your dog will be boarded at your expense. All normal boarding fees apply. This is at the discretion of management on a case-by-case basis.
All boarding clients receive complimentary daycare during their stay.
A one-night, $65 deposit is required for all boarding reservations.
Deposits will be put towards the first day of your pet's stay and will be refunded for any boarding cancellations that occur outside of 48 hours from your scheduled drop-off date. All boarding cancellations that occur within 48 hours of your pet's stay will result in the forfeit of your non-refundable deposit.
All dogs must be picked up by 12pm on the final day of their boarding stay or they will incur a late checkout fee of $29 per pet.
Cancellation of holiday daycare must be made by phone, in person, or by e-mail no later than 7 PM the night prior to arrival or will result in a $30 no-show fee.
Jazz’s Wonderland staff reserves the right to place your dogs wherever they seem safest. We reserve the right to remove your dog from any playgroup if their safety or the safety of the other dogs in the group is in jeopardy. All boarding charges still apply.
All dogs past the age of 12 months must be neutered or spayed.
Unaltered dogs are permitted for overnight boarding, but intact dogs will only be permitted to larger playgroups on a case-by-case basis.
All clients are responsible for packing any extra food to be given throughout the day. Clients may be charged a feeding fee if the food runs out.
We recommend all new dogs that are coming for boarding to come for daycare first so the dog can acclimate to us and the environment prior to sleeping overnight.
Facility Policies:
Please do not leave any toys or leashes. Jazz’s Wonderland is not responsible for leashes that are hung by the walk-in area.
If you feel your senior dog would benefit from having their own dog bed, please connect with a Jazz’s Wonderland staff member.
We are able to accommodate senior dogs, however, Jazz’s Wonderland is a high-energy playtime facility that may not be the best fit for all dogs. For senior dogs, we recommend a service that’s one on one (such as pet sitters).
Belongings can be occasionally misplaced. Jazz’s Wonderland is not responsible for missing or damaged items.
Bedding may become soiled or damaged during the stay. Jazz’s Wonderland is not responsible for any damages to bedding.
Jazz’s Wonderland makes every effort to wash most bedding before returning to the owner. If this is something you do NOT want, please inform staff at the time of drop-off.
We require all dogs to be up-to-date on their rabies, distemper, influenza and bordetella (kennel cough) vaccines, and to have most current records from your veterinarian on file. We also require all dogs to be up-to-date on their tick, flea, and heart worm prevention and test negative to parasites.
Our pack is made up of many different types of dogs. The majority of dogs that come to daycare are playful, happy, and friendly. We also welcome shy or nervous dogs, as long as they are able to acclimate to the pack during their introductory period. Every dog is given a chance to adjust to the pack, and our trained staff will be able to determine if your dog will be a happy member of our pack.
Jazz’s Wonderland is an indoor-outdoor facility; your dog will have the freedom to play inside and outside throughout the year. During cooler and inclement weather, we encourage our clients to provide coats for their dogs so the dogs may enjoy the outdoors in all types of weather. We suggest that you not send a fancy or valuable coat to daycare with your dog, as the coat might become damaged or soiled during play in the course of the day.
It is mandatory that all dogs wear a regular buckle collar to daycare. Dogs tend to use their mouths while playing and a regular collar (not a chain or prong) ensures your dog is not in distress while playing with another dog at any time. It’s also recommend that dogs have a name “plate” attached to the collar or the name engraved on the collar. Regular dangling tags can get stuck or lost during playtime. Collars with dangling tags could be remove during the day for the dog’s safety.
Jazz’s Wonderland offers full-service bathing. This service can be booked directly through the client portal. If you would like us to bathe your dog before you pick them up from daycare, please notify a member of Jazz’s Wonderland staff at the time of drop-off, so we can plan accordingly to ensure the dog gets plenty of playtime and is bathed before your scheduled pick-up time.
Dog Injuries & Illness:
Please refer to your contract for our complete policy regarding injury or illness.
Any injury requiring medical attention will be brought to the attention of the owner/caretaker as soon as we are safe and able to call.
Owner/caretakers are responsible for keeping emergency contact information on file up to date.
Jazz’s Wonderland does not bring dogs to the veterinarian unless they are in need of emergency care. On rare occasions, our staff may bring dogs to the vet at the owner/caretaker's expense.
When leaving a dog at Camp for an extended stay, there should be a local contact available to pick up the animal if the need should arise.
Jazz’s Wonderland is not an isolation facility. Dogs that come down with kennel cough while staying with us will be brought to the first available veterinarian and boarded there at the owner's expense. Time spent at Jazz’s Wonderland will be billed to the owner.
Jazz’s Wonderland is not responsible for any and all veterinary bills for incidents incurred while at the facility, this includes injury or illness.
Our fences are 10ft tall and we can’t accommodate dogs that can jump/climb fences.
